Hi! I’m Tina, licensed esthetician and founder of The Polished Peach. My journey into the world of skincare started over 20 years ago—with one Brazilian wax that changed everything. I remember lying there thinking, “How on earth is this going to work?” It felt like magic, a little terrifying, and strangely fascinating. But in just 30 minutes, I walked out transformed—with a new look and a newfound obsession with smooth skin.
After exploring different career paths, I finally discovered what I was meant to do. I enrolled in esthetics school without a clear idea of where I’d land—facials? lashes? laser?—but waxing quickly chose me. Just before my state board exam, I came across a job posting that felt like fate. I applied, got the job, and dove headfirst into the industry.

From First Timer
to Franchise Owner
For four years, I worked in a high-volume waxing studio, mastering not only the technical side of waxing but also how to make people feel comfortable, safe, and seen. (For anyone nervous before a Brazilian, trust me—I’ve been there too. I used to say a silent little prayer before every service when I was first starting out.)
As my confidence grew, so did my love for mentoring. I spent five years training new estheticians and helping build that studio into a successful franchise. Eventually, I became a co-owner of one of its locations and had the privilege of helping others grow in their careers while continuing to serve amazing clients every day.
We sold the salon and I was gifted more time with my family, but I missed the connection — I still had more to give, and that’s when The Polished Peach was born.
